History
Various events associated with Holy Family Churche are:
On 3-11-1993 -- Blessing of Holy Family Chappal by Fr. Mathew Kattadi.
On 27-11-1994 -- Decision to Celebrate Feast of Holy Family in every year on 2nd Saturday after Christmas.
On 1-3-1998 -- Declared Thirumala unit as a Chappal Parish and appointed Fr. Joseph Kaithaprambil as Priest in Charge
On 19-7-1998 -- Decided to build a new church
On 3-3-1999 -- Laid stone for new church
On 5-6-1999 - Blessing of new church was done by Bishop Joseph Powthil.
On 7-6-2005 - Fr. Thomas Maliakal was appointed as full time priest in charge.
On 21-05-2006 -- Declared Holy Family Church, Thirumala, as a Parish by Bishop Joseph Peruthottam. Also Blessed newly constructed catechism Centre by the Bishop.
On 13-7-2007 - Blessing of new 'Kurissady' by Bishop Joseph Peruthottam in presence of Vicar Mathew Padinjarekoot.
